TRC Submission Criteria

Material submitted will be approved based on the following guidelines:

1. The teacher(s) and/or person(s) who submit the material must affirm that it does not contravene copyright laws. (Refer to draft form below)

2. The teacher(s) and/or person(s) who submit the material must agree to have his/her name included on the version posted once it is approved by the Committee.

3. The material must be submitted in MS Word or RTF Format.

4. The teacher(s) and/or person(s) who submit material must agree, that, if approved for posting, minor editing may be done without consultation to the writer/author.

5. The teacher(s) and/or person(s) who submit material must include CLB level an/or intended audience; the Committee has the right to confirm and/or adjust it accordingly.

 6. The teacher(s) and/or person(s) who submit a link to a relevant site must provide the complete and accurate URL (it also must include a CLB level and/or intended audience).

7. The teacher(s) and/or person(s) who submit a link to a relevant site must provide a brief description of 2-3 line label for use on the TRC, modeled on those already present for other sites.

8. The TRC Committee reserves the right to decline resources that are not approved through the TESL Canada Resource Center review process. (refer to Form below)

9. Remove approved resources from TESL Canada’s Web site for any reason at its sole discretion.
