All teaching materials listed below have been reviewed and approved for the site, and have been assigned a carefully estimated CLB difficulty level. By recalling the CLB level of materials that you have already found suitable for your students, you can return to the site for other materials at the same CLB level with confidence that they should be appropriate, too.
Listening materials designed by Brock University student Martin Woodyard (recording and editing expertise donated by the Shaw Festival Theatre, NOTL, Ontario), with audio files and transcripts at diverse CLB levels. For enriched listening practice, these materials deliberately re-use transcripts and voices, so as to have multiple recordings with different voices at the same as well as different CLB levels; also, they re-visit a single basic episode (and accompanying story-line graphic) at diverse CLB levels, in both monologue and dialogue formats:
